Winter Park

Winter Park has some of the strictest tree protection laws in Central Florida. Tree removal generally requires a permit, especially for trees over 6 inches in diameter or those considered “protected species.”
However, under Florida law, if the tree poses a risk and a Certified Arborist Letter confirms it, you may be exempt from permitting.
