Will someone walk the property with me?
Yes. We review species, structure, targets (homes, screens, driveways), access paths, and your goals before recommending pruning or removal.
Can you text me updates?
Absolutely. We can coordinate by phone, email, or text—whatever’s easiest for you.
Safety & Standards
Do you follow ANSI standards and ISA guidance?
Yes—ANSI A300 for pruning and ANSI Z133 for safety. Our work is overseen by ISA-informed leadership so cuts and rigging

When do you recommend a crane?
When it reduces risk and lawn impact—e.g., over homes or pool cages, limited drop zones, or storm-compromised wood.
If a crane isn’t the best fit, we’ll outline a rigging plan that meets the same protection goals.

Pricing & Billing
Are estimates free?
Yes—on-site estimates are free and include a clear written scope and price. Arborist letters or formal reports are available on request.
What are the payment terms?
Typical projects use a small deposit (often 10–25%) with the balance due at completion and your approval. We accept common payment methods and can note terms on your proposal.
What exactly is included in the price?
Your written estimate lists pruning or removal scope, protection measures, debris haul-away, and any add-ons like same-day stump grinding or chip haul-away.
Permits & Documentation
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
Requirements vary by city, species, size, and condition. We’ll advise on the current rules and help with any paperwork if it’s required in your area.
Can you help with HOA approvals?
Yes—scope notes, photos, and certificates of insurance (COIs) are available to support HOA submissions.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes—General Liability and Workers’ Compensation. COIs are available on request.
Stumps & Replanting
Do you offer same-day stump grinding?
Often, yes—depending on access and schedule. Ask about pairing stump grinding with your removal for one tidy visit.
What are my options for chips and backfill?
Leave chips neatly mounded to settle, request chip haul-away with backfill, or choose a replant-ready finish with topsoil grading.
Any risks to underground lines when grinding?
Stump grinders work below grade and can damage unseen utilities. Please mark private lines where known; we’ll call out locates where applicable and grind with care in sensitive areas.
