Damage, or damage about to happen
- A tree or large limb on the house, garage, car or pool enclosure.
- The only way in or out is blocked—driveway or street.
- A split trunk or a hanging limb over a roof, walkway or play area.
- A tree that started leaning after a storm, especially with cracked soil or lifted roots on one side.
- Limbs resting on a fence, screen or wires. If wires are involved, call the utility first.
Not urgent—but don’t ignore it
- A dead tree with nothing under it. Plan a tree removal before the next storm.
- Small branches down in the yard. Rake-and-pile cleanup can wait for daylight.

When a Tree Is on the House
A tree resting on a roof is still carrying load. Cutting it in the wrong order can drop weight onto the structure or let the tree roll. We work out what is holding what before the first cut, then take the weight off in a controlled sequence.
- Our own grapple saw crane. Kevin’s Tree Service owns and runs a Fassi 390 grapple saw crane that can hold a section, cut it and lift it clear, often without putting a climber in a damaged tree. See crane service.
- Larger cranes when needed. For trees beyond our crane’s reach or capacity, we bring in a larger crane from an outside crane company.
- Rigging when a crane can’t reach. Sections are roped and lowered under control in back yards and tight lots.

- Hazard firstOn site, our crew secures the area and deals with what could fall or shift. If utility lines are involved, we coordinate with the utility before cutting.
- Controlled removalSections come down by rigging, our grapple saw crane or a hired crane—whichever protects the house best.
- Cleanup and next stepsBrush chipped, wood hauled, the area raked. Stump grinding can be added.
Storm Damage and Insurance Photos
After a hurricane, tropical storm or a hard summer thunderstorm, the damage is rarely one tree. We handle uprooted and leaning trees, limbs hung up in the canopy over roofs and walkways, and the debris that follows.
When it is safe, we photograph the tree, the damage and the work area, and we can provide itemized documentation of the work for your insurance claim. If you already have a claim number, give it to us when you call. Photos and paperwork support your conversation with your insurer; they don’t guarantee what your policy will pay.

Are you available nights and weekends?
Yes, you can call at any hour—our phones are answered 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays. Phone answering is not the same as crew dispatch: whether a crew can start right away depends on availability, weather and safety. Will you haul away debris after removal?
