A 41-inch oak leaning toward the neighbor’s side came down with crane assistance, along with seven more trees crowding the house, a screen room and a shed. Two stumps were ground 18 inches deep for a future shed.

What we see on Casselberry properties
Casselberry was built out in the 1960s and 1970s among existing oaks and pines, so many yards have trees as old as the houses or older. That usually means laurel oaks and live oaks over the roof and the screen room, camphors pushing into fences, and big trees close to the street on smaller lots.
Laurel oaks are a common removal here. They’re shorter-lived than live oaks and often drop limbs or show decay as they age, so our ISA Certified Arborist checks them before we recommend taking one down. Lakefront lots add their own challenge: tight access and soft ground between the house and the water.

Can you prune without bringing equipment into the yard?
Yes. When equipment isn’t an option, climbers do the pruning from the tree and limbs are lowered on ropes and carried out. We plan access and protection with you at the estimate.
How often should oaks in Casselberry be trimmed?
Mature live oaks often do well on a 2–3 year pruning cycle. Laurel oaks, which are shorter-lived and more prone to decay, and any tree hanging over a roof may need a look more often.
What’s included in your cleanup?
Brush is chipped and hauled away, wood is removed, and hard surfaces are raked and blown. When stump grinding is part of the job, grindings are hauled away unless you ask us to leave them for your beds.
